Tens of thousands of people in Florida are struggling with the devastation left behind by Hurricane Ian, one of the largest disasters to ever hit our state. The IBEW 5th District has informed us that there is an IBEW Unity Fund in place to help IBEW members who have been directly impacted by Hurricane Ian and they are currently accepting requests from members in the affected areas of Hurricane Ian. A request to the IBEW Unity fund will be made, based on the information they receive. Please send your requests to Business Manager Chris Parsels at cparsels@ibew108.org and your requests will be forwarded to the 5th District on your behalf. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone as they recover for weeks and months to come.
