What's New at IBEW 108 IBEW Local 108 and the negotiating committees have successfully negotiated and ratified three successor CBA's. A one year agreement with WEDU, a three year agreement with Seminole Electric, and a five year agreement with Sumter Electric Cooperative.

Absentee Ballot Request
Any IBEW 108 Union Member may request an absentee ballot anytime within 30 days but not less than 5 days prior to the election on Saturday, September 5, 2020. All requests must be in writing. At no time will a verbal request for an absentee ballot be approved.
Two envelopes will be mailed to you upon receiving your written request, a self-addressed envelope and a small blank envelope.
Ballots must be marked in private, and to protect the secrecy of your ballot please do not mark your name on your ballot or the small envelope.
Your name and address must be on the outside of the self-addressed envelope to verify you are an eligible voter. If you do not mark your name on the outside envelope your vote will not be counted.
Anyone receiving an absentee ballot will not be entitled to vote at the polls without first presenting the election judge with the unused ballot and envelope used in the mailing.
All absentee ballots must be received no later than 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2020. Any absentee ballots received after the specified date and time will not be counted.
