Dear Brothers and Sisters:

            At the Florida Electrical Workers Associations (FEWA) meeting in Clearwater, Florida January 23, 2016 Brother Phil Davis, President of IBEW Local Union 1191 reported on a very unfortunate and tragic accident that occurred on January 16, 2016 which claimed the lives of two of our IBEW Brothers in his Local Union.  Brother Davis has asked that I pass on to you the following information concerning the memorial funds that have been established for their Families and is requesting that we share it with our members.

          We lost Brothers Nick Pflaum and Chris Garcia on Saturday, January 16, 2016. Nick and Chris were working on the Palm Beach Transmission crew when the accident occurred. The links to the "GoFundMe" Memorial Funds that have been set up for their families for those who wish to make donations. Please continue to keep the Families of Nick & Chris in your thoughts and prayers. Also remember the Palm Beach Transmission employees through this extremely difficult time.
